I Believe You; Thousands Wouldn't

Although the human mind is capable of entertaining almost any hypothesis in theory; an extreme concept that is the unequivocal antithesis of our intrinsically fueled belief system, may, by its fantastical profundity, be rejected outright as "unbelievable;" despite any weight of evidence in its favor.

One example of this human inability to acceptance may be observed in the spontaneous disbelief oft times displayed to accounts of "other worldly alien encounters."

The methods of avoidance we use in this instance are analogous to the methods we employ toward any chillingly disturbing testimony. This can be attested to in recent History by the refusal of large portions of the world's population to believe the eye-witness accounts and other evidence surrounding the Holocaust perpetrated on the Jewish people by Nazi Germany.

The inability of some to conceive and accept these two diverse examples of incredibility lies in the entrenched fortifications of our social and religious doctrines.

In the one, we cannot overcome our intuitively held assertion that mankind has sufficiently evolved beyond the barbaric brutality demonstrated by this 20 th century horror of catastrophic proportions. In the other, our pride and conviction that the human being is the absolute apex of the universe, precludes our comprehension of any superior planet or species. Fear prevents our total belief that somewhere out in the unimaginably infinite regions of space there could be other beings who, though perhaps much like us, may yet be greatly more evolved and technologically advanced.

What we know as the "UFO Phenomenon," is, in its rapid expansion, being increasingly strengthened by contributions of acclamations from the lips and pens of less easily disregarded persons of irrefutable intellect and integrity; it's intensity provoking a gradual shift in our waking consciousness. Due to the steady acceleration of this shift, more people throughout the world would now admit to the existence of extraterrestrial flying objects; but may even yet remain skeptical of the personal testimonies of thousands of ordinary human beings around the world who report experiences of abduction and sometimes painful examinations at the hands of these alien creatures. It is as though they would naively believe these aliens to be doing nothing more than cruising through our skies in harmless sightseeing curiosity. This is a fear-evading fantasy.

To those who dare to traverse this gulf of disbelief, the idea that this laboratory-like project is not a recent occurrence peculiar to our present modern day world, will follow upon the eventual discovery of now identifiable evidence attesting to the facts of previous vaguely suspected truth.

Cleverly concealed within the myths, arts and ancient chronicles of our human past, lies the heretofore unrecognized, indecipherable proofs of the origin of present day humanity.

The Bible, the book which our Christian nation holds aloft as the guiding principal of life, does indeed contain many examples of this source; at least what remains to us after the repeated rapacious expunging to which it has been subjected over centuries. Nevertheless, these gems of enlightenment may yet be discerned when translated by contemporary minds and eyes.

Numerous reports of these earlier recorded manifestations are authenticated within the pages of the Old Testament; giving an indication of their antediluvian vintage. The original archives for these texts are as old as mankind itself- excavated from their earthly tombs of preservation, to illuminate the shadows of unwitting bewilderment cast over our world. With the aid of this reflective hindsight, we are capable of trusting a belief in what we now, tentatively perceive as undeniable truth.

As our own individual conjecture is added to the accrued reality of collective consciousness, we are able to state with confidence to these intrepid esoteric pioneers of the 21 st century- "I believe you; though thousands wouldn't."

If fear does overwhelm us in this aspect of an enemy, we, in our meandering amongst the revelations of these extraterrestrial visitors, will have noted the disparity in their appearance, character, and methods of executing their delegated duties. These differences are indicative of diversity as remarkable as our own.

We should have no fear that we are alone and defenseless against an enemy of seemingly unconquerable dimension and eminence. Suffice it to say- we have friends in high places; who have throughout time protected, and will continue to protect and aid us in the defense of our world and our species. Our God has told us so. "Fear not, for I am with thee."

Well written article Ella. Someday we will have answers to many, many questions. You might know from my dialogs with Paul that I think satan comes to steal, lie, deceive and kill and destroy. I think he and his minions are responsible for much supposedly unexplainable "paranormal" including UFO, "alien" abductions etc. There is a "tug of war" going on for a person's soul and the enemy will try about anything to "win".

Well personally, I say there is no God, and it has NOTHING to do with fear. There is simply is no proof.  I ask anyone to describe God for me.

Also, when considering the alien possibilities, it is quite logical that there are other life forms from other universes, but I don't think they are any smarter or dumber than ourselves and I don't see how they could possibly travel to earth from incredibly far away places since we can't.  All the universes have the same elements (Gases, particles, gravity, light, etc.) as our own, and it is very likely those people, animals, plants, and their planet would be much like ours.

We can't create a flawless car or plane, yet these aliens (According to accounts.) come and go from far off lands with unheard of speeds and ease.  How could they possibly have a better understanding of the physics of our universe than ourselves?  That's like saying I understand Chinese better than the Chinese do!  EARTH is our land, with our languages, with our joys and sufferings, etc.  How could it be that people from far off places know our world better than we, that they'd be able to create incredible flying vehicles in which to travel, without space suits, with the ability to breath our air, and know us better than we know ourselves.

It's the stuff of comic books!

Your words, "EARTH is our land, with our languages, with our joys and sufferings, etc. How could it be that people from far off places know our world better than we..." My answer: In the same way that your mechanic knows your car better than you, and your computer tech knows your laptop more than you, and your doctor knows more about your body than you... Also, isn't it arrogant to assume that humans are the highest life form in the universe? And isn't it a form of fear to reject the notion of God's existence...the fear that God may require something of us, something that may inconvenience our pride or pleasure? I have experienced too much of the miraculous and supernatural to insist that there is no God. The evidence abounds, if one will be humble enough to even consider it. ~mogama~

If the article was intended to ply open the stubborn modern mind towards the supernatural realm, it brilliantly achieves that goal. Thanks, Ella, for your excellence in word craft. You are a literary gold mine for sure. ~mogama~

Another extraordinary article from you, Ella. Whatever this age is or isn't, I do believe it has an element of increased consciousness that our beliefs don't define reality independent of ourselves. I'm always amazed at how in our imaginations we're turned aliens into a threatening species when in fact they could be the next level after earth! Maybe even a bunch of our relatives out there, yelling at us "for heaven's sake, it's us, don't you recognize us?"!!

Thanks for this wonderful and thought-provoking read.
