To Think Outside the Box

If we start with the basic premise that the human being is a part of the nature of this earth, we recognize that, albeit the pinnacle of that nature, we are subject still to the fundamental dictates of the laws of natural order. We know for certain that our earth's nature depends on the mechanisms of rebirth, without which our world could not exist.

Influenced by our physical natures, and propelled by our preference for corporeal, tangible things, we seek to objectify everything that comes to us from the fertile, metaphysical riddle that is our mind; a sometimes frightening ghost which inhabits our physical world, haunting our life until we capture and identify it as our original authentic self.

The "holy trinity" of the human being is the body, mind and soul. We strive to fulfill all three of these qualities of reality in our quest to become a whole human being. For most of us the dimension of flesh is the primary focus of our attention and activity. The world of our physical body is predominately the most demanding; and tends to become more so as we continue in this domain. Becoming increasingly embedded within the physical structure insures our further withdrawal from our original source; the dimension of pure consciousness. What we've labeled as our "soul," is a part of that non-physical world from whence we came into this existence of the human body.

The mind may be likened to a conduit by which the soul delivers whatever is required and wanted from the place of creation- the field of collective consciousness and karma. Learning to exercise our mind to its fullest capacity is of paramount importance; for we project our physical world from the non-physical mind. In our attempt to unravel divine mysteries, we must need explore our own inner landscape- where the solutions to these mysteries dwell. We launch our mind as a heat-seeking missile into the unknown regions of our total existence- to detect, expose and recover the needs and remedies for our soul. The powers of our mind are indeed a force to be reckoned with. To extend the voyage of this discovery beyond the mundane demands of our physical world requires an intrepidity of bold design in response to an urgent intrinsic obligation to the soul.

To permeate and reap the benefits of this field of consciousness is a goal we pursue instinctively. Within this realm exists an awareness of every thought, emotion, action and desire ever emitted by the human mind, to which there are no barriers. Every force of our psychological energies is present, and constantly being expanded in the configurations of dreams, imagination, myths, epiphanies, angels, demons, saints, deities, visions, (sacred and profane) prayers, wishes , desires and inspirations. Access to these subtle experiences is always open and available to us all.

Our consumption from this portentous pool is perceived by our brain as energies of love, peace, goodness, courage, endurance and happiness; hate, fear, anxiety, evil, anger and violence. Icons and images are projected from these energies into our mind's eye, and into our lives.

Why? We may ask, would one seek out the embodiment of evil, and create demons from such a vast and fulsome field? Only if these manifestations are prompted by the soul will they be called forth. They are necessary, at times, for some. Humans learn by contrasts- to identify and appreciate light, we must experience darkness.

Since like naturally follows like, we are instinctively attracted to the like identity of our soul's vibrations. As this happens in physical life, it also happens after physical death.

Our objective is to create a soul naturally attracted to vibrations of peace, love and happiness; rather than hate, evil and suffering. We thereby create our own heaven or hell.

We are drawn back to rebirth to experience the consequences of our choices; and learn from the contrasts of these consequences.

Jesus sought to teach us these contrasts. "Whatsoever a man shall sow, that shall he also reap."

"Do unto others as you would have done unto you." Easy to remember, but evidently not so easy for man to live by. Most of us require hard and painful experiences in human life to grasp the truth in these teachings, but these lessons will be repeated to us emphatically until we learn them.

Sorry to say, I haven't read that one yet, but will indeed look for it at the Library. I've read a lot in that genre; they have aided me tremendously on my path to Spirituality. Thank you so much for reading and commenting- Always- Ella

It is heavy reading since much of it relates to quantum physics. Lighter versions are "The Law Of Attraction" and maybe "The Secret"

The subject of quantum physics does interest me- mainly because of it's difficulty- I just finished reading "Gods, Genes and Consciousness," Paul Von Ward, for the second time. I read these books over and over trying to get their full import. I have read the two you mentioned, and will read them again in future. Please feel free to recommend any you think I may need to read. Thank you so much- Always- Ella

Ella, that is heaveeey! I personally believe the soul and mind are one and the same...maybe not. Humans, due to our physical surroundings and dependency upon physical things for life itself, cannot fully conceive of the mind/soul without the physical. But they indeed are separate. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you Joel- as I said in the article, I believe the mind, body and soul form the "holy trinity" of the human being. We leave the body here at it's home- the mind and soul continue on to their home. Thanks again, and do come again- Always- Ella

Great write Ella and accurate metaphysics in my view. We arise from all that is love and light but for some reason wish to experience all that we are not, on this third dimensional planet. There is a constant outward flow from the infinite, but, like the hands on a clock, that flow inevitably flows back eventually to the source.

Ella, another note from me, I cannot BELIEVE you have got into Quantum reality as well as me since we last spoke, how odd is that ? Have you read Nick Herbert?
