O Eve Where Art Thou?

There have been stories throughout time that have wanted to be told; and yet, the intolerant temper of the times did urge the storyteller to the couching safety of the metaphor, parable and fairytale; which we are now left to decipher through the glass darkly.
In this certain time and place- a place as yet unknown to earthly human senses; in an instant before time was marked on this miniscule uncharted world in the furthest reaches of the universe; there existed the "Camp." The final outpost of an urgent expedition- a frantic search of compulsory imperative; the rescue of another world- it's dying atmospheric protection the object of this far-flung exploration; the neglect of which vital restoration would inevitably result in the destruction of said world and its inhabitant species.
In the excessive void of her unprolific, misspent time, incurred by the wanton insufficiency of productive activity; she writhed in frustration and impatience; the elemental purpose of her soul impoverished by neglect; to create life from the breath of her being- an operation strictly forbidden by the high command during the essential assignment in this primordial world. Among the chosen pioneers, who were the elite of the highest scientific echelons; she was a member of unequaled aptitude. To study the secrets of biogenetics had become the purpose of her life- that, and her linguistic facility, had accelerated her position in the scientific world of biotechnology. To have been chosen for this mission from amongst the many qualified applicants, was indeed a singular honor, but her regulation to the insignificant position of data gathering and entry, had been a sore disappointment.
The project of prominent interest now, in homeland scientific circles, had been dubbed, in facetious humor, The "Immaculate Conception," due to its accomplishment of creating the manifestations of life outside the body; sans the act of physical sexual communion; which was, in her world, now taboo for purposes of reproduction due its method of ungovernable, unregulated and erratic gene selection; albeit still practiced for its innate sensual health value and pleasurable qualities.
Her restless dynamic and energetic mind, of zealous scientific fertility; left too long in the numbing straits of rote and duplication, cataloging the vital statistics of the flora and fauna encountered in this alien world; began, in rampant and fatal curiosity, to speculate upon the opportunities provided by this richly lush and moist valley; which lay beyond the craggy grounds of pitiless flint, gem and granite containing the extracting and mining operations of the Camp.
Within this vast and fertile valley, where she labored in tandem with her assigned partner and accomplished aides-de-camp, she began to envision, with a fecund perspective unique to the female, possibilities for the exercise of her desire to create and reproduce. She did, in overwhelming temptation, become obsessed with the desire to investigate the outcome of the aforementioned practice of biogenesis engineering, in this strange new world. Mindful of the possible consequences of failure or discovery; with the power of her inquisitive thirst and confidence of her gender, she decided to venture a surreptitious attempt at the defiant insubordinate endeavor.
Of utmost import to her success, was the compliance and assistance of her assigned proteges- the chief of which she labored beside within the close confines of the portable lab. Although unexcelled in her specialization of amalgamating and transfusing the compound used in the creation; the discovery and procurement of the raw materials for the feigned duplication of the necessary equipment, from this atavistic primordial terrain, fell well within the skilled capabilities of her imagined accomplice. During her furtive reconnaissance of this virile cradle, she had oft observed the illusive examples of this world's evolving higher species. She would need his help in seizing these strong, swift and wily fur covered creatures.
In quiet caution, she approached his dim and watery abode- marked with the reptilian insignia of a serpent-entwined staff, proclaiming his wisdom and background in the field of biomedical science. Reiterating to herself, in repeated wearying effect, her scheme to engineer his concurrence with her devised objective, she was cognizant of his possible angry refusal in accordance with his rigid devotion and allegiance to the commandants of this pioneering campaign. She realized the requisite employment of an infallible scheme.
She timidly reflected on his familiar and constant nature of self-governed discipline and sober dignified restraint, and the animosity between them, begat by their differing renditions of scientific issues, and hesitated in trepidation, fearful of his reaction to her plan. And yet, despite this atmosphere of hostility; there were the remembered times of change to his habitually stern, at times almost frightening, visage. At these times, in response to the accidental touching transference of her symbiotic feline essence- a demeanor of amorous carnal speculation transformed his serpentine features.
Succumbing to her wiles to allure, fascinate, tempt and entice, his heretofore controlled emotions beseeched his capitulation to surrender. The breaching of his censoring walls of resistance did reflect a moment to the guilt of damned error- for which he grasped at expiating allowances; and finding them within the desert of his torturously endured celibacy, did become inveigled into the desired culpability.
Hidden in the shadows of the dense and verdant foliage, they eagerly proceeded with their nefarious project; their embryonic beginnings infused with the essence of their own bodies. In time, and much trial and error, their biotechnological proficiency produced the supreme consummation- a perfected earthly human being.
At the return of the commanding hierarchy, much swift earth time had passed- time in which they had become renown among the laboring pioneer alumni, for the immoderate flagrancy of their brazen affront to established, yet absent, governance. Their god-like creations earning them titles of royal designation- he, the "Lord of the Earth- she, the "Great Mother Goddess."
Seeking exculpation, he did, in shameful, cringing mortal terror, before the judging tribunal, place upon her the singular blame of moral weakness, sexual wickedness, and sinful frailty; which was forever after assumed to be synonymous with her descending female progeny.
His perennial defense: "She led him on."
The exultant display of their successful human prototypes, whose magnificence begged indulgence, notwithstanding, they were, with indignant remonstrance, banished from the all inclusive protected environment of the E-Din compound; to live out their lives in the hitherto unknown harshness of this unforgiving alien world. The crowning glory of their success were taken into protective custody, to dwell in luxurious existence amongst the elite, and from whose loins would spring the earth's appointed hierarchy of kings, priests and rulers; the bloodline to be preserved in its exclusive origin. For the assertion of their free-will against the command of the "mother world," they were condemned to the hostile community of the personified inferior, at times monstrous results of their failed experiments; at whose hands of righteous blame they would meet further rejection. Alone, with their loyal elected followers, they must now procreate, in the pain and suffering of sexual reproduction, the beginnings of their own nation and race; the shame and mistrust of betrayal forever staining the cloth of their unity. For she did not sin alone; their commission was a dual one. Their enlightenment to new unity must needs be alike in duality- and she will "lead him on."

Amazing, Ella, the story of creation told in metaphor as it's never been told before.I thank you as always, for your kind attention- Have you ever heard the difference in a story that has made the rounds a few hundred times? This one has been down the road and back again- Thanks again Jenn- Always- Ella

Is that a new bio photo you're using? Very becoming. My nine yr. old grandson took this picture a couple weeks ago- he's a budding photographer- most people run now when they see him coming with his camera-his grandmother lets him practise, although I abhor having pictures made of me. He asked me- "Nanny will you put this on your writing site?" He's such a dear sweet darling- of course I did- it made him happy.
Great Ella. Doesn't ambition and lust always lead to rebirth, pain and suffering? (This one should put you over the top)!Metta......eThank you so much for reading E, and for your loyality, which I do take note of...Always- Ella
